Nintendo has announced the 3DS XL, a revision for the 3DS handheld. It releases August 19th, the same day as New Super Mario Bros. 2, in red and blue colors, at a $199.99 MSRP.
The system includes a larger screen, slightly improved battery life, and an SD card packaged with the system.
